FUN FACTS ABOUT FAITH

Faith’s career has seen her working across South Africa, the USA, and Australia in her technical support and risk advisory services roles with IBM, Deloitte, and EY. She has enjoyed supporting many global organisations across geographies in a range of industries and sectors.

Faith is as much at home on her farm working with cattle as she is in a corporate boardroom. Her happy place is working with her cows and calves on the grazing properties she shares with her husband, Andrew in the Bass Coast area of Victoria. Their home is nestled in rolling green hills with views out over the beautiful Bass Coastline.  The farm provides the perfect environment for family gatherings over weekends or holidays.

Faith has always treasured the mentoring opportunities she has had throughout her professional services career, establishing strong and enduring bonds with staff at all stages of their careers from graduate to senior executive levels. Faith personally discovered the value of mentoring at a young age from her dad who was always her greatest and most constant supporter providing encouragement to travel and seek opportunities to work abroad.

Faith emigrated to Australia from South Africa with 3 young sons almost 30 years ago. One of her favourite travel destinations is returning to her native South Africa, enjoying opportunities to spend time on safari in the African bush, never growing tired of observing wildlife in its native habitat, exploring the the Drakensburg mountains, and reconnecting with extended family and lifelong friends.

In 2016, Faith completed a company directors’ course and for the past 9 years has held a number of non-executive directorships alongside her full-time professional services career. She is currently on the boards of a BankVic and Crime Stoppers Victoria and recently transitioned from full time work to build a portfolio career comprising NED roles and mentoring.

When not working on the farm or in her professional career, she loves to spend time with her family or exploring the beautiful beaches along the southern Gippsland coast. She has in recent years developed a passion for cooking being blessed with access to wonderful fresh produce often swapping homegrown beef with friends and neighbours for other fresh produce.
